Did you run into any trouble with one of our releases? Or do you have any questions? There are several ways where you can get help. Please keep in mind that everyone in our community provides his help on a voluntary base so we ask of you to be patient. Furthermore it is very likely that you are not the only one with this problem so please always use the Search before asking for help.

Forum

The forum might be the best place to ask as it contains the largest group of users which come together to discuss problems and ideas. The Search functionality of the forum should soon become your best friend but if you happen to find that you have an unresolved problem feel free to post it.

Wiki

We are working on setting up a Wiki (based on MediaWiki which is well know because of Wikipedia) which will provide a collection of the most important information to get started and descriptions of how certain things work. We are always looking for people who support us in this process.

Chat (IRC)

Here you can find a script provided by Freenode which directly connects you to our IRC channel in the Freenode network. This is both a place to ask questions and get fast support (if someone has the time to answer your questions quickly) and a place to have a little chit-chat with everyone about anything that comes to your mind.

If you wish to connect to the IRC channel using an IRC client here are the details you need to know:
Server: irc.freenode.net
Channel: #ummdev

Bug Tracker

If you didn’t get any help in the above listed places you can always check our Bug Tracker based on SourceForge where all the known bugs, feature requests and patches are available for everyone. If you made sure that you discovered a so far unknown bug feel free to post a bug report but please first read the guidlines for doing so and provide an informative title and description. You will need a SourceForge account to be able to report bugs or hand in new feature requests.
